Love – it can’t be bullied!

Bullying… what exactly does it mean? The dictionary shows us an amazing range of definitions for ‘bully‘, from ‘sweetheart’ to ‘brute’, so let’s just say for our purposes here we’ll define it as: “intentional tormenting in physical, verbal or psychological ways.”

Though bullying hardly seems like a subtle thing, the signs can be hard to detect so many parents wonder, “How can I help my child?”, “What are the signs my child is being bullied?” and above all, “How can I protect my child to keep them from being bullied?”

These are wonderful questions because we know that being bullied can have deep consequences in a child, affecting how he develops relationships… and perhaps most importantly, his perception of himself.
