Earthquakes, Tsunamis, and Kids
Natural disasters, while natural, can certainly be cause for concern. While the world continues to reel with news of the 8.9 Earthquake and subsequent Tsunami that hit Japan on March 11, 2011, don’t be surprised if your son or daughter is feeling the impact too. Even if you live in an area physically untouched by this event.

Transcribing these videos has been a new ‘listening’ for me. It’s interesting to discover (again) how much my mind can wander, triggered by what I’m listening to… only to miss some information. Of course, all happens in perfect timing. Which explains why every time I listen to Abraham I ‘hear’ something new and different.
By listening with the intention to catch every word… different things come to light. Makes me wonder if it might not be a good idea to leave a tape recorder running in our homes at different times… and then go back and transcribe what really went on. You know… that morning battle of getting everyone ready… maybe if we really heard what was going on, we could make some effective changes that would serve the whole family.
