Let’s Teach Honesty!
Most parents, when they see children not terrorized by the things that terrorize them, they work very hard until they’ve finally got you terrorized. They teach you those irrational fears. Well-meaning, but they do just the same.

A belief system formed
When I was six, going on seven, I stole a penny sucker from a classmates lunch box. It was a slo poke… I’ll never forget it because while I never confessed to my crime, the ‘guilty thoughts’ I held around it made me sick for 3 days. I decided stealing was painful and the wrong thing to do.
The Rules for Being Human
This is an old one I read many, many years ago. I spent some time researching it’s origin/author… and found myself getting a lot of different answers. Maybe because it’s simply the ‘t r u t h’ — and all truth is available to each of us and impossible to attribute to any one person.
Spiritual Parenting
I spent Memorial Day weekend way up north where Minnesota borders Canada. I always find time spent on the water up in the north woods to be wonderfully refreshing and renewing. This weekend was no different. One of the things I gave thought to while I was up there had to do with the direction I wanted to go with this blog. I’ve found myself inspired to make some changes!
