Kids and Video Games: The Couch Potato Syndrome
Many of you may not remember the ‘early’ days of video games from a parent’s perspective… but as you can see from the ‘humorous’ T-shirts worn by my three sons, I remember it well.
I have a wonderful friend who is also an Internet Marketer/Coach/Educator/Wife/Mom — (I’m sure there are more ‘hats’ she wears but in an effort to keep this brief…) who wrote a great blog post over the weekend titled:
Food is an adventure with children.
Oh… not necessarily an exciting adventure, more like the adventure fraught with the unexpected in the form of a whole lot of resistance.
You know how we teach our children that “Please” and “Thank You” are magic words? Well, it might be magic when they use them on us... but if you think your 4 year old is going to do what you’d like just because you say “please” you are in for a rude awakening!
